Reconditioned Covered Roll Corona Treatment Stations – Any Make, Any Model! |
|
The concept behind restoration is simple. You’ve had a corona treater for years – it treats effectively and does the job. It’s a little rough around the edges and not quite as reliable as it used to be (or as you want it to be!), so what do you do? Replace it? Absolutely not! Your new option is to recondition it! Reconditioning is fast, practical, and economical! Best of all, you’ve got a reliable corona treater that is in better condition than when it was new! We build – and rebuild - machinery better than it needs to be! If you have an old corona treater in your plant don’t replace it – restore it! Reconditioning – It’s the smart thing to do. |

Restored—or new? Can you tell which? It’s restored! |

Pictured here is a corona treating electrode assembly which, as our customer put it — just didn’t work. The customer called to see if there was anything we could do. We replied, “Of course!” The old electrode assembly was modified to use rectangular electrodes and it works great!
It is unbelievable to me that manufacturers do not use stainless steel hardware when manufacturing new corona treaters – but, to this day, stainless steel hardware is not standard with most new corona treaters. As a result, the hardware is rusted and corroded almost immediately by the corrosive properties of ozone in the corona treating process. But not when it’s a new or reconditioned corona treater from QC Electronics! |

OK—here’s another chance! Restored or new?
This corona treater is also restored! We swapped out the old manufacturer’s assemblies with new QC Advantage free swinging assemblies—it’s still running today and this job was done several years ago! Same electrodes, too! WOW! |
