This bare rolls corona treatment station came to us with a major problem – it treated a 30” web and the customer needed it to treat a 50” web! As if that wasn’t enough, the 2.5KW power supply needed an upgrade to 5KW output. Sound impossible? Not at all … and here’s the result. The station now treats a 50” web with a 5KW generator! What’s the customer say? “Works better than when it was new!” |

This customer could not achieve the dyne levels needed for their product. They were faced with replacing the corona treatment system or reconditioning it. They chose reconditioning. We installed QC DT+ electrodes in the station and upgraded the power supply. This system is now capable of 4.2KW of power versus the original 2.5KW. The result – higher dyne levels. Problem solved! |
